Having comfortable and safe student accommodation is key in order to succeed with your studies at Twente Pathway College.

Twente Pathway College will provide you with necessary support in booking student housing for your first year of stay in the Netherlands.

Our recommended accommodation partners Plaza and Xior offer well-designed and furnished en-suite studio apartments with kitchenette and private bathroom on campus and in the city centre depending on your preference.

Joint facilities include common areas to make new friends, a laundry area and storage space for your bicycle. Are you ready to start living in Enschede?

Arrange housing before arriving

• It is crucially important to secure your accommodation as early as possible. Do not travel for your studies until this is in place.
• You can start booking your accommodation as of May.
• We strongly recommend you make use of TPC’s housing offer at our accommodation partners Plaza and Xior.
• The rooms are limited, and they are offered at first come first served basis. We guarantee a room if you apply early.
• You can always reach out to the team for advice or support by emailing via your Study Link account or via general@twentepathway.nl
• Please keep in mind that finding suitable accommodation is your responsibility and  the TPC team is here to help.
• Please note that a permanent address is required for visa purposes.

Plaza Resident Services

Enjoy a fully integrated campus experience by studying and living at the all-in-one campus of the University of Twente.
Living in the Plaza Residence is a fantastic way to get involved in the many programs and activities available on campus, have easy access to classes, and other facilities at the UT such has a library, a supermarket and student restaurants.
Enschede city centre is 20 minutes by bike or public transport. You can easily enjoy the city centre that has many affordable shops, restaurants, weekly open-air markets, and cafes.

The Plaza Residence offers:

• a fully equipped room with a queen size bed, a small kitchen, and your private bathroom
• lounge and study area
• game area
• cinema
• roof terrace
• bicycle storage
• WiFi
• personal mailbox
• A residence manager is available to assist students with all accommodation matters

CONTRACT AND PRICES
You will be able to move in from 1 September and must vacate your room by 31 August on the following year. Monthly rental costs range start from €945.95 per month, including base rent, furnishing, service costs, maintenance, and WiFi.

Laundry and dryers at additional cost, €5.25 per use for laundry and €3.25 per use for dryer.

To complete your booking process the following payments are required and should be made to Plaza:

• A deposit of 2 x base rent
• First month rent
• All service and facility costs

HOW TO BOOK

1. Register via the Plaza booking site that you can find on the accommodation guide sent to you
2. Plaza will send you an email with the request to upload some documents
   copy of your passport
   copy of your current bank card
   your offer letter
3. After returning these documents Plaza will issue your contract
4. Sign each page of the contract and return it to Plaza as soon as possible.
5. Pay the deposit (2 x base rent), administration costs and the first month rent. Only then the booking will be final.
